The Eye of Africa – also known as the Earth’s Bullseye – is a massive rock formation in Mauritania spanning 50 kilometers. This image was snapped by Dutch astronaut André Kuipers while aboard the International Space Station and captures the Eye as it can only be truly appreciated—from above.
